Vishnu Aditya covers the degrees of the Zodiac that align with Tropical Libra. For more on how to calculate Adityas, see my post, Calculating Adityas & Their Correspondence to Tropical Signs

Vishnu Aditya

Vishnu is the All-Pervader. Vishnu is Spirit. Spirit is always sustained. When Brahma creates and Shiva destroys, what remains is Vishnu. Conscious intelligent energy pervades everything. The essence of everything is the cosmic intelligent energy.

Recognize the all-pervading energy by going beneath the surface of forms and we will be confronted with the truth.

When Vishnu is afflicted by starved or shamed planets, indicates people feel like they’re drowning because they are not able to hold onto forms.  A lot of emotional and mental strain exist around this Aditya when afflicted. It causes the more severe problems people will have. Most of us cling to solid matter; money, family, relationships, possessions, etc., to feel safe and secure. That does not happen in this Aditya.

Vishnu can cause a lot of fear when unhealthy and create a need to grab onto something solid. People do awful things to attempt to make something solid, they try to control and manipulate. Indicates selfishness, hoarding, jealousy. It is important to embrace the concept that the only thing that is real is energy and energy changes forms. Realizing this, we can feel safe and secure.

Senses, which are ruled by the Moon, differentiate phenomena. The Moon does not do well here because differentiating with the senses does not work.

The potential for spiritual development is great in Vishnu. It is a Brahmin Aditya. It trines from Varuna Aditya so Vishnu is also a large love Aditya.

Opposite is Aryama (constant companion) which is what the Moon wants. Vishnu is pervading everything, constantly changing form. Vishnu can create a lot of instability on a concrete level, but on an energetic level, this is a stable Aditya.

This is where everything we are taught fails, this is where everything our senses tell us fails and it is time to go toward the Truth. We are learning to swim in ocean of Truth with Vishnu.

The minute something is destroyed, it is transformed. The moment the log is burnt, it is transformed immediately into heat and light. We cannot separate the destructive aspect from the transformation. Every seven years all human cells get replicated.

Vishnu is about transforming the energy. What transforms that energy is love. What a person loves will dictate where that energy flows. If we love food, energy flows to the stomach. If we love wisdom, energy flows to the Third Eye. If we love cars, all the energy goes to manifesting cars. If we love money, energy transforms into money. What do you want to have in your life? You will manifest it out of your energy.

If afflicted, the person does not feel safe and will use, manipulate and attempt to control others. This Aditya can hate everything when afflicted. They are desperately trying to grab something and don’t recognize all the things they do which can be hurtful to others.

When healthy, the person sees there is a unification to everything. They can manifest what they love with tremendous force. When we have love for everything, we do not have to succeed. Vishnu is designed to work on a level of consciousness, not on a material level. This is a very deep Aditya.

Take energy and put it into a different part of our mind then we can understand how we can thrive. Everything is a manifestation of our own energy and we can transform that energy at will.

Vishvamitra Rishi

Wise Sage

The Rishi walks behind the Chariot seeing the Truth. The Law of Vishvamitra is the Law of Breaking the Law. His name means “The Friend of ALL”.

This Rishi really stands out. He became a Rishi even though he was born a Kshatriya and became a King. All other Rishis were born as Rishis. Vishvamitra is a self-made man. His is constantly doing good to others. Willing to stop what he’s doing for the benefit of someone else. Vishvamitra would delay his own pursuits and goals to be there for others. First receiver of Gayatri mantra. Wise among the wise. He possessed the will power and strength to become a Rishi.

Vishvamitra is a rebel because he created his own heaven. He does not follow the rules nor the status quo. Only Law of this Aditya is that there are no laws. It is acceptable to break the law when you’re doing it to save a life. No sin to break a  law to care for someone who needs care.

It is about personal transformation. We have laws within ourselves and this Aditya is where we break those laws because of something we want to achieve. If afflicted, we break them for bad reasons.

We may need to break some rules, any rule we need to break, to ascend to a better place. It’s done unselfishly with awareness and care for others. If afflicted, there is a complete lack of honesty, cheating and manipulating.

Makhapeta Rakshasa

Rakshasa 3

Peta means “Gone”. Makha means “festivities, parties”. The Party is Over! With everything in life, there comes a point where the cheerfulness is gone, the festivities are over, things become stagnant and stale. We must find a way to raise the vibration.

This is the Aditya for drug addictions because people will always find a way to turn the volume up. We must shift out of this state and this Rakshasa determines how we do that. Do we get wilder and crazier, more extreme or do we find a healthier way of raising of the vibration? Essentially, the vibration must change. Energy can be transformed into a lower vibration or higher vibration. The experience must shift.

Makhapeta’s nature is a bottomless pit. It can never be satisfied. We use addictions like money, sex, drugs, relationships, work, to fill a hole. It is not a meaningful experience if we connect with drugs and alcohol and do not even remember what happened the next day.

Step away from the ravaging hunger of wounds and into the higher vibration of the healing. How can we raise the vibration? – rather than – How can I feed this emptiness? Give new life to the vibration of the career, relationship or whatever needs new life.

We’re trying to find a more meaningful way to connect to what is already there. In Vishnu, when things become stagnant, it is up to us to transform that energy. We raise our vibration to a higher level and now the party begins again on a higher note. If we’re not moving forward with important things in our life, then we are moving backwards.

It is the 8th Aditya, so it is the weakness, the vulnerability, it’s where we might die, where we might fall apart, where something can go wrong .

The 8th from this Aditya is Mitra ruled by Mercury. Somehow Mercury can play a role in helping this transition, helping this shift. Mercury is the planet of Vishnu. To see what will help you make this shift, examine Mercury and Mitra. Good – more help in making shift. Afflicted – struggle in making shift. Mercury will try to raise the vibration, examine new ways to invigorate.

The other way to transformation is through acting. Feel like the party is over, then act. Mercury is the planet of acting so use our Mercury skills to act like there is a whole new party; act more interested in our job. Next thing we know, we will be more interested.

Whenever we come to a point of bitterness, we need to transform that energy into something beneficial and productive.

Work on ourselves, improve our state of mind and don’t even think about the decisions because they will solve themselves. Then Vishnu (vibration) will make the decision, should we keep this job, should we keep this person, or this or that?

Ashvatara Naga

Nagas

Ashva means “Horse” and Tara means “to surpass something”. This means he surpasses the horse; he is very fast. Ashvatara also means “mule” which gives some qualities that are better than a horse.

He possesses the transformation qualities of Vishnu. There is always another level of achievement, always another record to be broken. There is always room to surpass the last best thing. We can always achieve a higher level. Because this is a Brahmin Sign, this is especially true in the realm of our spiritual development. No matter what milestone we’ve reached, there is further to go.

Free up the chariot through this urge within us to always push for more.  The lack of satisfaction manifests the need to take something to the next level. Ideally the next level is a deeper level of spiritual connection. Keep going no matter how many achievements we hit.

When healthy, we can move on to the next level and then the next level, ad infinitum. If afflicted, we are scared to go to the next level and the urge to do so will not be as strong. We keep the chariot stuck because we don’t believe it can go further, so we cling to what is there. With transformation, we must let go of things, especially our mental concepts. They become so ingrained that taking the next step seems impossible. When we begin to believe we can do something, we do it, even though it seems impossible.

Satyajit Yaksha

Rathasvana Yaksha

The Yaksha is a Nature Spirit that harnesses the Chariot to the horses that represent power.

Satya means Truth. Jit means “victory, conquering, acquiring, winning”. Satyajit means “Winning Truth, Conquering Truth, Acquiring Truth”. Also conquering and winning through Truth.

Vishnu is about transmutation and Truth is also under a constant state of transmutation because Truth is relative. It is relative to our level of consciousness and our experience. Vishnu allows our consciousness to shift then we can see a truth we did not see before.

With this Yaksha, we don’t try to make things happen in a certain way, we embrace the Truth of what is. See the Truth from another perspective. When we want to solve a problem, we have to approach it from a higher level of consciousness.

A lot of problems are not meant to be solved, they are meant to be transmuted. Now we can see the Truth from another level of consciousness and now everything is OK. In a greater understanding of Truth, everything is OK and nothing needs to be done. Vishnu is a female Aditya and there is very little to do in the female Adityas. They are more about responding.

Transmutation can take a problem and make it disappear, it does not exist anymore. What is seen as unfair or wrong simply just is, and no longer a problem.

When this is afflicted, people can be stuck and/or twist truth to serve their needs. The hardest thing to do is see the Truth within ourselves and at times, the evil within ourselves.

Suryavarcas Gandharva

gandharva

Surya means Sun. Varcas means “vital power, radiance, energy”. Vital Energy as the Sun, Radiant Power. It is a force that can make this Gandharva do incredible things on the physical level because there is so much power available to it.

Good planets here can go above and beyond physical limitations. Transform pain, become heroes, suffer through what most cannot suffer through and still rise to conquer.

Can surpass limitations of their body and emotions and find a way to survive or help someone else.

When afflicted, no respect for physical limitations which causes a lot of problems. This Gandharva gives the power to do those things that we don’t think are possible. Some things that don’t seem possible due to fear of punishment or ethical and moral considerations will be planned out and executed. The energy is too strong in the person to recognize limitations so they do what a normal person would not do. If healthy, this person can be a leader.

All Gandharvas are ruled by Mars and they inspire us to go above and beyond. Gandharvas are super-human. We have this energy within us that knows how to do things we don’t consciously know how to do. It can infuse our brains at the right moment. Whenever we go above and beyond, physically, mentally and emotionally, we are tapping into the Gandharvas.

Rambha Apsara

Apsara

Apsaras are celestial nymphs that dance in front of the Chariot to entice it forward.

Rambha is the queen of the Apsaras, queen of arousing emotions. One of the strongest emotions is sexual desire. Rambha is the prime seductress that Indra sends out to test Rishis. She is the number one Apsara for causing trouble. She has the best legs and thighs of all Apsaras and she is the most sexually provocative.

Rambha means banana tree which is a smooth, gently rounded tree that resembles her legs. Banana trees have luster and sheen to them. At the top of the banana tree is a beautiful flower. They are Soft trees with graceful motion. Her legs are sexually enticing and that includes her hips.

There is strong pressure on Apsaras to entertain, to bring ambiance, to bring the right mood. The apsaras create the mood which is very important. When you go to a temple, the trees, flowers and bushes are beautiful and they create a mood. Creating a mood gets half the job done. This creates a force that makes people want to do things.

Rambha and all Apsaras have the capacity to love deeply. They are not just nymphs or seductresses. Apsaras are much more whole.

Vishnu is energy and energy is in a constant state of transformation. It is the energy that is always intelligent, always present and always changing forms. All usable energy is sexual energy. We have our root chakra. The root chakra is the Earth, what’s in the Earth? Energy! The Earth is a ball of Energy.

The next chakra is the sexual chakra where energy from the Earth is being transformed into usable energy. Now we have this massive energy supply and it is all sexual energy. Then we decide to do different things based on the energy in that battery. What we do not use on the other things, the energy remains as sexual energy. Everything we do is the transmutation of sexual energy into some other energy. We burn our energy based on what we are hungry for, which is ruled by Mars.

Rambha’s job is to make us feel our sexual energy. How much sexual energy we have at our disposal that we have not spent on  other things. Why? Because we were not hungry enough for those things to spend it. She comes along to show us that we still have energy. Rambha shows us the energy we have not transformed by showing us how much sexual energy we have in reserve.

Generally speaking, Rambha can show up very innocently. A healthy Rambha does not have an agenda.

The more pathological people become, the more they do not transform that sexual energy into other things and as a result, sexual pathologies can grow. If someone has a sexual pathology and a strong Parental Mind, it deepens their pathology and they can project. If they only think they can have sex under certain circumstances like love and they don’t find love, they can repress that sexual desire and it becomes pride. It is extreme pride and impossible to not push that pride button.

A huge cause of pathologies is someone not able to burn their sexual energies into healthy channels. It needs to be transformed into things that are true to us, that we’re inspired to do, to live as ourselves. We need to burn that sexual energy with passion and fervor by invoking ourselves in who we truly are. Mars is the alchemist and we need to be hungry for something to transform that energy into something productive. If it’s not used, it will be transmuted into disease because they have all kinds of sexual pathologies or because they have no sexual outlets.
