We can begin earning more but the main difference is we invest our money into avenues which reflect our true individuality and inspirations. Our earnings will open up greater possibilities. We also become financially wiser in our investing and spending.

We may begin to follow a new spiritual path and meet new spiritual mentors that will reflect our true nature and individuality. Returning to university to acquire a higher degree is also a possibility.

Jupiter Transiting Critical Houses

Jupiter is the Karaka or main planet of the Seventh House. The Seventh House indicates sexual intercourse and conception which produces children, an indication of Jupiter. Jupiter is also creative intelligence which results in our creations that are embraced by others, either the public or our partner. Parasara does not name the Varga/Harmonic of the Fifth House as part of the Shodasavargas or most important Vargas. This Harmonic chart is skipped over, so Jupiter becomes the main planet of the Saptamsa or Seventh Harmonic.

Jupiter is the fifth planet and the Saptamsa is the Fifth Varga mentioned by Parasara even though it corresponds to the Seventh House.

Jupiter is also the Karaka or main planet for the Vimsamsa/D20 or Twentieth Harmonic. This is a divisional chart of the Eighth House. The Eighth House has to do with bonding, trust and devotion on an inner, esoteric level and Jupiter is the planet that is most ideal planet to which to bond. One of Jupiter’s Sanskrit names is Guru which literally means “weight”. Jupiter magnetically attracts because of his goodness and divine wisdom. To be devoted to Jupiter is to be devoted to that which will make us content and wise.

Jupiter transiting the Eighth House shows a time of becoming more devoted to that which will make us happier, wiser and more creative. We will have opportunities to bond to those things which will give us more purpose in life, which will inspire us to follow our unique dharma. Ideally, that would be a spiritual path but it can also be another person. This transit will give more fulfillment if we are devoted to something.

On a more mundane level, Jupiter transiting the Eighth House can give money or valuables through inheritance, the government, insurance, the public or the partner.

Jupiter Transiting the Twelfth House

If Jupiter and the Twelfth House are well-disposed in the Birth Chart, we can acquire their final Jupiterian wish like getting initiated into the spiritual path we always wanted or having the child we always wanted. We can receive that final gift of wisdom, insight or creative vision.

It can mean a woman decides she does not want any more children or she can finally meet and marry a man that is right for her.

If afflicted, when Jupiter crosses the Twelfth House Cusp, we will release the Jupiterian thing from our consciousness because it caused more stress and more problems than it was worth.

Jupiter is the main planet of the Seventh House which rules sex and conception. When Jupiter transits the Eleventh Sign from the Seventh Cusp (usually the Fifth House), the result is creating our dynasty with someone else or the public. Another of Jupiter’s critical houses is the Eighth House because the Eighth House is devotion, trust, and bonding. Jupiter transiting the Eleventh Sign from Eighth Cusp (usually the Sixth House) will give reward for devotion and trust.
