The South Node has a need so great, it can never be fulfilled. It cannot be fulfilled because the person has a rigid, fixed idea about how the need will be satisfied. Residing in Libra at the current moment, the great need is diplomacy and compromise but it will not be fulfilled in the expected way. An aura of disappointment or lack will permeate the outcome of negotiations or compromises.

Venus conjoined the South Node signifies finding the divinity of the natural world and all its sensual delights and that these can manifest in many different forms, not just ways that are familiar and safe.
